Description


  • Evolving Firmware / Software requirement and architecture from marketing documents. 
  • Execute POC 
  • Contribute to complete architecture of the Product and High level design, alternate design analysis, documentation and reviews them with stakeholders. 
  • Design, Code, Unit testing and debugging the device under development 
  • Comply with Development Process adherence and support the team in effort/cost estimation and status tracking 
  • Should be able to build WBS, schedule tasks and track them to closure. 
  • Ability collaborates with Multi disciplinary Team like Marketing, Hardware, Manufacturing and Services Teams. 
  • Exposure to Iterative Development Processes is an advantage.

Qualifications


  • Education: University degree/Post Graduate in Engineering in B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics/instrumentation/Electrical/computer science. 
  • Should have at least 7-9 years of experience in Firmware / Product development. Out of this 2 years experience in handling independent modules or BSP experience is a must. 
  • Experince on loading automation platforms is highly desirable. 
  • Hands on experience of development on 8/16/32 bit controllers based systems. 
  • Hands on experience in RTOS based firmware development is a must. Should be able to setup RTOS on a MCU. 
  • Hands on experience on at least two Industrial Protocols (e.g. HART, DE, MODBUS, FF, Profibus etc), and Wireless development platform will be added advantage 
  • Working knowledge of interfacing internal and external peripherals like ADC, DAC, Communication interfaces, displays, EEPROMs, Compact Flash, SD cards,
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment with global partners 
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
